First timer, Riaan Ludick, takes first place at Kralinbergh parkrun

Riaan Ludick, a first timer at Kralinbergh parkrun, took the first place in a time of 22 minutes and 39 seconds, while Tommie Jacobs was second in a time of 24 minutes and 24 seconds.

Athletes put on their morning joggers and participated in the Kralinbergh parkrun in Ermelo on 8 February.

A total of 97 athletes completed the 5km route and 21 completed the race for the first time.

Riaan Ludick, a first timer at Kralinbergh parkrun, took the first place in a time of 22 minutes and 39 seconds, while Tommie Jacobs was second in a time of 24 minutes and 24 seconds.

Ian Jacobs landed himself a third place with a time of 24 minutes and 29 seconds.

Volunteers who made the event possible, were De Villiers Arnoldi, Theresa Botha, Wendy Damons, Zoe-Anne Damos, Alida de Jager, Joseph de Jager, Tasneem Nagdee, Ansuné Neethling, Kobus Neethling, Magdaleen Neethling, Mandri Olivier, Ameen Tikly, Nuraz Tikly, Raees Tikly and Gerald Young.
