EDPC dedicate their club shoot to first responders

Ermelo Defensive Pistol Club (EDPC) recently held their monthly club shoot at Vlakfontein shooting range.

The theme for this club match was dedicated to first responders.

A total of 17 competitors navigated their way through five challenging stages on the day.

Some stages were straightforward and simple, but others proved more tactical and technical where the shooter had to make sure of his shot.

The event was enjoyed by all, especially prospective shooters on the day.

The overall winner of the day was Stephan Marè with a time of 55.27 seconds.

He was followed by Christo Botha with a time of 55.65 seconds and Victor Borges in third with a time of 58.08 seconds.

The rest of the top ten competitors were: GP Janse Van Rensburg, Hendry Geldenhuys, Fred Bosch, Luanco Jansen Van Nieuwenhuizen, Gert Janse Van Rensburg, Michellé Bezuidenhout and Brendan de Villiers.

The most accurate shooter of the day was Vivian Whatley.

Whatley had a perfect run with zero penalties conceded.

He was followed by Stephan Marè, Hendry Geldenhuys, Gert janse Van Rensburg and Brendan de Villiers.
