Runners kick off the morning at Kralinbergh parkrun

It was Theo Bezuidenhout and Henriette Kleynhans' first time at the Kralinbergh parkrun.

A total of 28 runners started their Saturday morning, May 7, with a steamy parkrun.

Stephan Jacobs was the fastest man on the course, finishing the race in a time of 23:09.

Andrew Mathibela finshed second, with a new personal best of 24:29.

Zothani Asakhe Ngubeni also set his new personal best of 41:08.

Veronica du Toit was the first women to complete the course, with a time of 34:35.

It was Theo Bezuidenhout and Henriette Kleynhans’ first time at the Kralinbergh parkrun.

Alida de Jager, Joseph de Jager, Aden du Plessis, Tanya du Plessis, Loise Jacobs, Lakesh Maharaj, Mike Peacock and Cha-Nita van Wyk were the volunteers who made the parkrun possible.

The Kralinbergh parkrun takes place every Saturday at 08:00 at the Kralinbergh Estate on the Breyten Road.
