Flip Venter leads the pack in the weekly Kralinbergh parkrun

Barend van den Berg has run a total of three parkruns and set a new personal best.

Altogether 24 runners braved the misty weather to take part in the Kralinbergh parkrun on June 11.

Flip Venter led the pack and was the first runner to finish this week’s parkrun in a time of 31:03.

He was followed by Gosia Snyman, who was the first among nine females taking part in the run. She completed the race in a time of 34:40.

Barend van den Berg has run a total of three parkruns and set a new personal best.

It was Maryke and Jannie Bosch’s first time at the parkrun and they managed to complete the race in a time of 1:05:05 and 1:06:13 respectively.

Five volunteers, Alida de Jager, Joseph de Jager, Lakesh Maharaj, Teriesa Serfontein and Michelle van der Westhuizen, ensured that this week’s parkrun was successful.

The parkrun takes place every Saturday on the Kralinbergh Estate at 08:00.
