The Ermelo Mega Force (EMF) held its EMF Super16 Cup at AJ Swanepoel stadium on June 16 to celebrate Youth Day.
The competition was sponsored by Sinqobile Security Services with the goal of keeping residents, particularly young people, active throughout the day.

Residents who attended the event competed in a variety of sports, including soccer, volleyball and netball, with prizes ranging from a trophy to 20 gold medals and jerseys.
According to Linda Mabanga, EMF’s marketing director, a total of 30 teams from Ermelo and surrounding areas participated.
“The event was a success. The day went extremely well because we were able to achieve the end product, and we are grateful to everyone who took the time to be a part of this good effort for the players to showcase their capabilities,” Mabanga said.
During the intense soccer match, players competed for prizes and titles on the field.

Smanga Ndwandwe of Sinqobile FC and Dineo Zwane of Mpumalanga United FC each received a trophy and golden boots for holding the titles of the day for man of the match and first goal scorer in the final respectively.
