Dumi loves playing rugby as it gives him the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new things and progress in life.
The 11 year-old scored five tries in two matches and three tries in the final match.
“I love playing rugby and will continue playing until I end up in the Springboks,” he said

“We are incredibly proud of our superstar and are very grateful to all the sponsors especially Fidelity ADT, coach Rudy and his wife, Laura, Jan and Rhonda who have carted him to-and-from training, ensured that he is fully kitted out for the tour, and given him support throughout the preparations. Dumi, we hope that the ball is never slippery when in your hands and that the ground moves like lightening under your feet,” said Ethelbert Child and Youth Care Centre’s director, Vanessa Theophilus.

Fidelity ADT Technical Manager, Kuben Govender, made a R500 donation to Dumi.
“We proudly support the Ethelbert Child and Youth Care Centre and learnt of Dumi’s achievement after reading their latest newsletter. We immediately knew that we wanted to assist and Kuben kindly offered to give Dumi an incentive that he had received from a grateful client to put towards his rugby trip,” said Fidelity ADT KZN District Manager for KZN, Ivan Govender.
Dumi promised to give Aunty Vanessa free tickets to all his Springbok matches.
