Bless a senior citizen this Christmas
Make the wish of a senior citizen come true this xmas.
THIS is your chance to get involved in the Robin Hood Foundation’s Bless a Granny and Grandpa campaign and make the wishes of a senior citizen come true this Christmas.
For many folk in old age homes, Christmas is a particularly sad time of the year, when they miss their families who have either emigrated or who do not visit often. They have the basic necessities, such as food, shelter and care but lack the extras such as sweets and treats and certain toiletries.
The Robin Hood will be visiting local old age homes to give the grannies and grandpas a gift, to show them some love and to bring a little joy into their lives.
“Every year, we are humbled by the simplicity of the requests we receive from them – for a Kit Kat, toilet paper, coffee or Handy Andy, ” said Kim Griffith Jones.
To get involved: Contact Kim Griffith Jones on 076 6129060 or email: robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net and they will send you the name of a specifically selected granny or grandpa and their wish list or provide a generic gift for a granny or a grandpa to the value of R125.
