DANIE Strydom, the principal of Gelofte School in Pinetown, proudly announced that the school’s 49 matric pupils achieved a 100 per cent pass.
Strydom added that 81.6 per cent of the pupils also received matric exemption after writing their matric exams.
The group of matric pupils managed to procure 92 distinctions, and achieved an average result of 69.5 per cent.
Strydom thanked the matriculants and the teachers for their hard work and dedication, and congratulated the pupils on their exceptional achievements.
“The Gelofte staff would like to wish the matrics the best of luck in their future endeavours, and we look forward to guiding this year’s matrics to similar successful and exceptional results,” said Strydom.
