UPDATE: Two die in bike accident
SAPS are currently investigating an accident that took place yesterday afternoon.

IN an unfortunate turn of events, the biker, Darryn Lubbe, died yesterday.
Messages of condolences from his friends and family have poured in on social networks.

A PEDESTRIAN was killed and a motorbike rider is in critical condition after an accident which occurred yesterday afternoon on the M13 Hillcrest bound.
According to Chris Botha, media spokesman for Netcare 911, the biker was travelling towards Hillcrest when a pedestrian ran across the road, near the Richmond Road offramp. The biker collided into the man. The biker was flung from his vehicle and landed several meters away from the point of impact.
“Netcare 911 paramedics and other emergency personnel worked fervently to stabilise the injured on scene. Despite all the efforts from the paramedics, the pedestrian died on scene due to the extensive injuries. After the biker was treated and immobilised on a trauma board, they transported him to a nearby hospital,” said Botha.
