Two people were injured in a head on collision on Richmond Road, yesterday.

A NINE-year-old boy was injured during a head on collision on Richmond Road in Pinetown, yesterday afternoon.

The boy was travelling with his mother at the time of the accident. Their vehicle overturned after the crash, and landed on its roof. Chris Botha, Netcare 911 spokesman, said that the boy suffered minor injuries, and his mother was not injured.

“Paramedics had to stabilise the passenger of the other vehicle, as he sustained serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was also uninjured during the accident,” said Botha.

“Both patients were taken to RK Khan Hospital,” said Botha.
