Mudiwe Nyamande is Thomas More College’s SPAR Star of the Month.
Last year, Mudiwe joined the Durban Youth Council and was elected into the Durban Youth Council’s position of Deputy: Director of Advocacy. They did a lot of work with underprivileged communities.
Mudiwe was then nominated to represent South Africa at the Global Young Leaders Conference which was held in New York and Washington D.C. from 1 to 9 June this year. He debated many issues and took part in the Global Summit, held at the United Nations Headquarters, with more than 250 other high school pupils from around the globe. They learnt about diplomatic resolutions, international relations and national interests.
