THREE people, including a 12-year-old were seriously injured when a motorbike and a car collided at the intersection of Sarnia and Titren Roads on Monday.
According to paramedic reports, the car and bike had collided in a T-bone format. The two people on the motorcycle and the driver of the motor vehicle sustained various injuries, including one serious fracture.
The seriously injured bike occupant was stabilised on the scene using advanced life support intervention before being transported to a Durban hospital.
The cause of the accident was unclear, but SAPS was on the scene and is investigating.
