Get creative with frog competition

Youngsters are encouraged to enter the frog art competition.

The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) is running a national art competition, ‘Get Creative For Frogs’.

Children between 3 and 16 are asked to send in their frog art by 28 February to be judged to go forward to the international ‘Frogs are Green Art Competition’ later in 2015.

All art forms are welcome, including drawing, painting and sculpture. Age categories: 3-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-16. Entries must include full name, age, town and province. Prizes will be awarded for each age category.

Entries can be made online at the Leap Day for Frogs Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/764437460251549/, or at participating eco-schools, or take them to the Memorial Park Leap Day Event in Kloof on 28 February from 5pm to 8.30pm.
