N3 Pinetown accident leaves female seriously injured

One person was seriously injured in an accident on the N3 south near the Richmond Road off ramp on Monday, 26 January at around 12.22pm.

A report from the scene indicates that the car and a truck collided on the south bound lane. Exact details however are still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicle causing a severe obstruction.

The female driver of the vehicle was found to have sustained serious injuries. After being treated at the scene by paramedics she was transported to a local hospital for the care that she required.
