Local NPO fundraises in style

This fun event will take place at 3 Ribston Place, Dawncliffe in Westville on Wednesday, 2 March from 9am to 5pm and on Thursday, 3 March from 9am to 2pm.

THE Chic Mamas are calling out all women who appreciate quality garments and love finding treasures with affordable pricetags to their charity fashion exchange.

This will be a guilt-free shopping where every item bought will change a life.

The Durban Mamas are currently processing donations and promise to have loads of stunning garments, shoes, handbags and accessories.

Chic Mamas is an NPO which consists of women who are passionate about education, believe in the importance of early childhood development and that each child should have the opportunity to grow up in a safe, stimulating environment,

Jenny Du Bois from Chic Mamas said people can donate a bag of their no-longer-wanted treasures to Chic Mamas for their rails.

“Every garment makes a difference. In addition, as part of the fun, people can arrive with four to six top-quality items to exchange for tokens to spend on the rails.

“It’s a win-win situation, but remember, these events are all about raising funds so tokens will be of a nominal value, it is all about giving,” she said.
