Decomposed body found in Pinetown

Police are looking for anyone who can help them identify the body.

A DECOMPOSED body was found in Eden Road in Pinetown, yesterday (Wednesday, 24 August).

According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Cpt Bongumusa Manqele, the body was found by a person who was coming from work in Paradise Valley.

“The man was walking along the road when he noticed an odour coming from the bush. When he went to investigate, he discovered the decomposed body of a black man who was wearing a black sleeveless top, red underwear and cream pants,” he said.

Police are looking for anyone who can help them identify the deceased to contact the investigating officer, D/W/O Chippie Van Den Heever at Pinetown Detective Services, on 031 325 5054 or 082 361 3023 or contact Crime Stop on 086 0010 111.
