WESTVILLE Girls’ High School has chosen learner, Christine Behrmann, as its SPAR Star of the Month.
This exceptional actress was awarded her full colours for performing arts in 2015 and her Cum Laude colours in 2016.
Christine competed with Team KZN in the Championships of Performing Arts held in Johannesburg this year. Her 15 vocal and acting categories earned her 11 medals – seven gold, two silver and two bronze. She was one of 2 800 entrants from all over South Africa.
Christine has also been awarded a place in Team South Africa to compete in the World Championships of Performing Arts in the USA in June until 12 July this year.
Maureen van der Berg, marketing liaison at the school said: “We would like to appeal to everybody out there to support local talent and help send Christine to the World Championships.”
