HIGHBURY’S SPAR Star is Kingsley Flanagan, Grade 2.
Kingsley and his pony, Duchess, won three first places in the 2018 Royal Show in Pietermaritzburg; ‘Best Child’ in hand handler class,’Best Turned-out Child’ rider class and his pony, Duchess, won ‘Reserve Supreme Champion in Hand Horse,’ out of all the big and small horses.
Duchess was the only pony in the class is a rescue pony from the Coastal Horse Care which made the achievement extra special.
Kingsley chose to wear his Highbury tie as part of his outfit.

Kingsley spends time at the stables almost every day giving Duchess loves and cuddles. He also takes instruction from a Highbury Old Boy, Liam Duffey, who has done exceptionally well in his riding.
Taryn said they are so proud of Kingsley.
“He tries very hard at whatever he is faced with, especially at competition time. We are extremely lucky that horses are such a special part of our lives and I know that Kingsley will grow up with such wonderful memories of his time with Duchess,” she said.
