In term 2, Kayleigh was committed to her cross-country training and won five of the six inter-school cross-country fixtures in the Upper Highway. She has since qualified to compete in the PADSA District Cross-Country trials and competed in the KZN League Cross-Country meet in Newscastle.
Kayleigh is passionate about running and has also branched out to include obstacle races, biathlons and triathlons.
She trains with Runtech SA and was recently placed first lady in the #2 IMPI Challenge Race and Ninja Warrior Challenge. Her next competition will be the Alverstone Altitude Rush.
Kayleigh has played the flute since Grade 4 and is a valued member of both the senior primary Marimba Band and Junior African Music Ensemble (drumming group).
She represents St Mary’s in both the U13A action and outdoor netball teams and plays U13 softball.
