AN unknown number of suspects are on the run after they abandoned their burning vehicle on the M13.
According to Blue Security’s media officer, Andreas Mathios, communication was received through a neighbourhood watch group about a suspicious vehicle in the Padfield Park area this afternoon.

A member of a security company spotted the vehicle and when the suspects in the vehicle realised they were being followed, they sped off onto the M13 towards Westwood Mall.
“After a long chase, the security officer caught up with the suspects as their vehicle crashed and caught a light,” he said.
According to Mathios, the suspects fled the scene into a nearby residential area and are still a large.
The number of suspects has not been confirmed and no one has been arrested yet.
