Pinetown police search for missing Chesterville man

Joseph Phiri (31) was last seen on 3 May visiting his friend in Cowies Hill.

PINETOWN police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a missing Chesterville man.

Joseph Phiri (31) went missing on  3 May 2020 and was last seen by his friend, Bright Kambiri, after visiting him in Cowies Hill.

According to Pinetown Cluster communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, the missing person left Cowies Hill to return to his residence in Chesterville but he never arrived home.

“He was last seen wearing a navy T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers,” said Manqele.

Anyone with information on Phiri can contact the investigating officer, Det/Cst Wiseman Nyawose  on 074 261 5500 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
