Two children among 7 people injured in Pinetown accident

Paramedics advised motorists to drive with caution on the wet roads.

SEVEN people including two children were transported to hospital with various injuries after a single-vehicle accident on the M7 Durban-bound joining the N3 North-bound.

ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said the driver of the vehicle somehow lost control and the car rolled numerous times.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple people injured and immediately called for more ambulances as well as Advanced Life Support Paramedics to assist.

“The patients sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban hospitals,” said Jamieson.

He urged all motorists to take caution in this wet weather as paramedics have attended to multiple accidents already and expect to attend to more.

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
