Highway women vie for Mrs SA title
Three Highway women share their journey as they vie for the Mrs SA tittle.
THREE bold women from the Highway area have secured their spot in the Mrs South Africa competition.
Sarah Morgan-Walker, Tiana Marshman and Chantal Jordaan are calling on the Highway community to show their support by voting for them.
The Mrs South Africa pageant is not a typical beauty pageant but offers married women an acclaimed self-discovery programme that aims to celebrate and further develop the skills of the strong, talented and confident female leaders.

Sarah Morgan-Walker, a wife and mother from Kloof, described herself as a creative at heart, being involved in the arts through her work and in her personal capacity.
As the proud mother of three daughters, and the head of sales and marketing in her family-run business, she juggles many batons, navigating everyday life, getting involved in community initiatives, and finding the time for matters of the heart that she is deeply passionate about.
“I enjoy teaching art to children who otherwise would not have been exposed to the joys and benefits of it. I also dedicate a lot of time to animal rescue, and rehabilitation.”
Asked about her hobbies, she said she adores her family and pets. “I absolutely love travelling, meeting different people, and exploring new food, music and cultures.”
Thriving against all odds
Another semi-finalist is Chantal Jordaan, who has been described as an extraordinary woman who embodies strength, resilience, and the power of the human spirit.
The Westville resident is a successful fempreneur, devoted mother and wife, and a four-time breast cancer survivor who serves as an inspiration to countless individuals.
Her entrepreneurial spirit shines through in her work as the founder of Event Catalysts and Gearing 4 Life.

Through these organisations, she said she harnesses the power of events to create opportunities and stimulate business growth across the nation.

Jordaan’s journey as a four-time breast cancer survivor has transformed her into a beacon of hope for women facing similar challenges. She is dedicated to educating and uplifting others, demonstrating that cancer is not an end but a transformative experience that can lead to incredible strength and resilience. Her powerful message, “After every storm, the sun will shine again,” resonates deeply with those navigating difficult times.
She added that she sees the pageant as a platform to reach even more people with her message of hope and resilience.
“My journey is a testament to the power of determination and hope, reminding us that with these qualities, anything is possible.”
As excitement builds, third semi-finalist, Tiana Marshman, said she needs every vote that she can rally in, to make her cause count.
“As a wife, mum and full-time employee, despite struggles with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, I just managed to obtain my B.Science in Agricultural Business Science (hons).”
She said she entered this pageant to gain all the necessary tools to make her voice heard as she creates awareness and inspires women dealing with mental illness to rise above this disease and become the best versions of themselves.
