Pageant helps raise awareness on cyberbullying
The pageant was also hosted to raise funds for Bridging Gaps, an organisation that creates connections and ignites hope in the community.
THE Miss, Mrs and Mr Richdens pageant was held recently to raise awareness on cyberbullying and to raise funds for Bridging Gaps 2024.
Janine Rowe, the host of the event and a victim of cyberbullying herself, is now raising awareness among young people, women and business owners on how to deal with these issues.
Rowe said the event was a huge success.
“We were able to raise a significant amount of funds to support these important causes,” she said.
Bridging Gaps is an organisation that creates connections and ignites hope in the community.

“Their work in the Valley of 1000 Hills is truly inspiring, and I’m so proud that we were able to support them through this event.”
Rowe also runs a successful modelling agency in KZN and is a passionate horse lover among many other things. As a motivational speaker and trainer, she said she is dedicated to empowering others and helping them reach their full potential.
She is known for her inspiring speeches and workshops that encourage personal growth and development. In 2024, Janine was nominated as a finalist for the Mrs KZN pageant, showcasing her beauty, grace and poise.
She is a proud mother and wife, balancing her professional and personal life with grace and determination.
“One of my key passions is my campaign against cyberbullying. I am a vocal advocate for women’s empowerment and dedicated to creating a safer and more inclusive online environment for everyone.”
