Former soldier accused of wife’s murder to know his fate

Lwanda Mxolisi Zungu is accused of the 2024 murder of his wife Tania Msane Zungu at their home in Pinetown.

ON Tuesday (July 14) the Pinetown Regional Court is expected to hand down the judgment in the murder case in which a former soldier is accused of killing his wife.

The wife, Tania Msane Zungu, was reportedly found by paramedics with multiple gunshot wounds at the couple’s home in Pinetown on January 3, 2024.

The husband, Lwanda Mxolisi Zungu, who is in the dock for allegedly murdering Tania, is due to know his fate when the court hands down the judgment on Tuesday.

It was reported that on the morning of the incident, ALS Paramedics had responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Tyrone Road in Padfield Park, Pinetown.

Tania was declared dead at the scene after she was assessed by paramedics.

According to reports, Zungu and his wife are parents to two children.
