Westville police seeks help in culpable homicide case

The Westville Police are looking for the next of kin of a man who died after being run over by a vehicle in October last year.

THE Westville SAPS is appealing to the public to help them solve a case of culpable homicide. The communications officer of the station, Elizabeth Squires, said the case was registered in October last year when a male was knocked over by a vehicle.

“An African male, approximately 45 years, wearing dark clothing, was crossing the freeway when he was knocked over by a motor vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries and was taken to Pinetown Mortuary,” she said. 

Squires said the investigating officer is appealing for anyone who has information regarding the deceased, or the next of kin, to contact Sergeant Mlambo on 031 267 7358 / 072 032 6700.
