Pastor Armstrong Khuzwayo started off the programme with words of encouragement, urging senior citizens to avoid worry and focus on promoting well-being in their lives.

The programme featured informative sessions by various speakers, including representatives from the Department of Human Settlements. They discussed programmes such as the Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP), which provides substantial subsidies to lower and medium-income earners to purchase property.

The Department of Home Affairs was also present to address queries and concerns from senior citizens. They warned about identity fraud and provided guidance on resolving such cases. Additionally, they explained the process of late birth certificate registration.

Health checks were also conducted, including tests for diabetes and weight.
