Two people killed in separate Highway accidents
The woman and man, believed to be in their 30s, sustained major injuries and died on scene in both accidents.
TWO people were killed in two accidents in Pinetown and Westville.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, said they responded to an incident at 11:15 on the M19 before the Mountbatten Reservoir Hills off-ramp.
“Paramedics arrived on scene to find that two workers who were cutting grass were hit by a car after the driver lost control.

“One of the workers, a female in her 30s was found to have sustained major injuries and unfortunately there was nothing that the paramedics could do for her, she was declared dead on scene.
“The other worker was transported to hospital with moderate injuries,” said Jamieson.
He said the second fatal incident took place on the M13 Durban bound at the Stapleton off-ramp just after 14:00.
“Paramedics arrived on scene to find total carnage, the driver had somehow lost control of the vehicle. The car rolled numerous times.
“The man, also believed to be in his 30s and was the only occupant in the vehicle, sustained major injuries and unfortunately there was nothing that paramedics could do for him; he was declared dead on scene,” reported Jamieson.
Authorities will investigate the cause of these accidents.
