Buy a perfect gift at Hillcrest’s festive market

The Festive Market runs until December 21 at Hillcrest High School, bringing nearly 100 local vendors and festive food stalls under one roof.

THE Festive Market is on up until December 21 at Hillcrest High School, following many years at Watercrest Mall.

Carrying all things fun, festive, and gift-related, doors to the 2025 Festive Market open at 09:00 and closes at 18:00 daily, with “Elves” from the local schools ready to help shoppers find the perfect gift for everyone

The Festive Market Convenor, Debbie Viviers, who has been hard at work magically transforming the school hall into a treasure trove of Christmas Spirit said, “We are thrilled to be able to showcase a wide range of gift items from local craftspeople from the area.

“This year we have close to 100 vendors who have been burning the midnight oil in preparation for a bumper market, crafting and creating a gorgeous array of gifts. You will be sure to find something for everyone on your ‘Good’ list – as well as lots of fun goodies for those on the ‘Naughty, but nice’ list!”

In addition to items from soaps to Christmas “Gonks” (hat wearing gnomes), socks and epoxy inlay-charcuterie boards, to delightful scented bath goodies, there will be Christmas décor, stockings and toys.

The Steam Room will be on site to get your caffeine fix, The Cornerstone Café, and Kooki Gourmet Cookies will be open daily for meals and snacks, with Snack Shack selling a range of delicious tacos and nachos from Friday to Sunday to fill hungry bellies and keep you fuelled while you shop.
