Westville detectives need assistance to identify this man

Westville detectives are seeking help in identifying a suspect caught on CCTV at an iPhone shop in Westville. The man allegedly used fake documents to buy iPhones and a wrist watch on Valentine's Day.

THE SAPS Westville detectives have released a photograph of a suspect captured on CCTV at an iPhone shop in Westville.

Westville SAPS communications officer Sergeant Zwelethu Khathi said investigators alleged that the man in the picture used fraudulent documents to purchase iPhones and a wrist watch.

“According to the investigation the man is in his early 30s, chubby, dark in complexion, and was wearing the same clothing as in the picture. The incident took place on February 14 at 12:00.”

Khathi appealed to anyone with information about the suspect to contact investigating officer Sergeant VB Ntuli on 073 824 1574 or communications officer Sergeant Khathi on 079 889 9586.
