THE Kloof Country Club Ladies have selected Making A Difference (MAD) as the beneficiary of their 2026 fundraising efforts.
The theme for the Charity golf day was “Good Vibrations – Come VIBE our Greens”.
Ladies Captain Terri Holloway said the decision to support MAD was an easy one.”MAD is a truly inspiring local organisation that provides essential support to families and animals within our Upper Highway, Cliffdale and Bux Farm communities,” said Holloway.
“Their hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach ensures that every contribution makes a meaningful and immediate impact.”

The organisation led by Upper Highway resident Heather Partner focuses on a range of community development initiatives. A key area of its work is supporting and strengthening local crèches and preschools through infrastructure improvements, resources and teacher development.
Partner emphasised the importance of investing in early childhood education.
“Training teachers is an important aspect of what we do. Decent education from an early age is so essential,” she said.

Partner added that her organisation is also committed to animal welfare programmes in underserved communities.
She explained that the organisation continues to facilitate dog inoculation and health drives, providing a range of preventative treatments and education for pet owners.
“We will continue to support dog inoculation and health drives. We facilitate not only rabies inoculations, but also deworming and skin treatments, together with owner education. The next drive will be held in Cliffdale, where we expect to assist more than 400 dogs,” said Partner
