School kicks off 70th anniversary celebrations
St Benedict School's 70th Anniversary concert was a blast. The Primary School Concert, "70 Years of Excellence", took audiences on a nostalgic journey through the school's rich history, showcasing the growth and achievements of the past seven decades.
TO launch St Benedict School’s 70th Anniversary celebrations, the school recently presented their Primary School Concert, 70 Years of Excellence.

The show took audiences on a wonderful journey through the rich history of the school, from the beginning as Pinetown Convent School in 1956, through the devastating fire of 1971, the school expansions over the decades, the name change to St Benedict School in 1999, and even the challenges of Covid-19 in 2020.

Every learner from Grade RR to Grade Seven played a part in this memorable production, giving the audience a chance to travel back in time and experience seven decades of growth and achievement.

Each grade delighted the crowd with song and dance items, and the stage sparkled with dazzling costumes, energetic performances and countless smiling faces.
It was a celebration of the past, a tribute to the present, and an inspiration for the future.
