Cancellation of fund-raiser a disappointment

The resident is despondent at the cancellation of the annual Kloof Conservancy Indigenous Open Gardens fund-raiser.

IT was with incredulity that I read that the annual Kloof Conservancy Indigenous Open Gardens fund-raiser has been cancelled.

Without pontificating on the reasons and why-fors of the cancellation, the fact is that it has resulted in Mr Paola Candotti and his incredible team of conservationists losing the opportunity of making a profit of over R30 000 to fund their many environmental projects during the coming months.

I suggest that there are many residents of Le Domaine itself who are deeply disappointed at this conundrum.

Many of them are keen conservationists.

I am sure that they could influence the board of their home owners association to write out a cheque for R30 000 to the Kloof Conservancy.
