Selfless act appreciated

May he and his two companions be richly blessed! Thank you.

THE storm of 25 April is almost forgotten, but there is one thing that keeps popping into my head, something I have left undone.

In the dark, raining heavily with wind coming up the hill, stood three chaps telling us to turn around, Stockville Road is dangerous and impassable.

What is even more remarkable is the chap standing just before the shop where the banks were collapsing.

It was possibly the most dangerous area as cars were driving on the sidewalk to miss the collapsed bank and this chap stood his ground, telling people to be careful, clad only in running shorts and a T-shirt.

Now this is a selfless human being, a real hero.

May he and his two companions be richly blessed! Thank you.
