Get sporty for Husky Rescue
Take part in action cricket, action soccer or action netball games to help raise funds for the local NPO, Husky Rescue KZN.
HIGHWAY Action Sports will be hosting a MultiSport fundraiser for Husky Rescue KZN on Friday 24 October from 6.30pm.
Two of the four courts will be used for eight over action cricket games (eight players per side), one court will house 30-minute action soccer games (six players per side) and the last court will be used for 30-minute action netball games (seven players per side).
The cost is R35 a player per sport and more than one sport can be played by a person on the night. Half of all game fees raised on the night will be donated to the charity. “Raffle tickets will be sold on the evening and all the money received will be donated to HRKZN. Husky dog food donations would be greatly appreciated too,” said Leigh-Anne Du Plessis, the arena manager.
