Kloof athletes rip through obstacle race
The local school team were the first primary school team to cross the finish line.
KLOOF Senior Primary School entered a team of three learners for the recent Waterra Cascades 5km Obstacle Course Race.
The children stayed together throughout the entire course, not once leaving one of their team mates behind.
“They were so encouraging toward one another, it was such a proudly Kloof Senior Primary moment,” said the school’s principal, Bernice Love.

The obstacles the athletes tackled included a cargo net, carries, rope climbs, monkey bars, A-frame climbs and more.
The school teams were made up of primary schools and high schools and the KSPS trio were the first primary school team across the finish line and were the second overall.
