WESTVILLE siblings Nakhil and Laeyah Govender made podium finishes despite the tough opposition with fighters from throughout the country at the KSA Elite and SA open championships 2021.

The KZN champs attend technical coaching workshops at the Westville civic centre under seasoned Protea coach Brando Pillay.
“My prodigies Nakhil and Laeyah shone brightly on the national stage. Their consistency and hard work definitely paid off,” said their proud coach, Shihan Brando who also serves as the technical convenor of Karate South Africa.
