Churches to march against abortion
A public demonstration will be held in Pinetown to create awareness regarding abortion.
SANCTITY Life Sunday church and various other churches throughout South Africa will be celebrating the Sanctity of Life in February.
A prayerful witness is scheduled at the church on Saturday 1 February. A peaceful placard demonstration will also be held on Sunday in Pinetown on Josiah Gumede Road from 10am to 12pm between Anderson and Crompton Streets. Residents are encouraged to meet at the free parking place (opposite Lahee Park Swimming Pool) at Sanlam Centre at 10am.
The Pinetown Life Chain plans to provide visual awareness to the community regarding abortion.
Residents who wish to join the demonstration are also encouraged to make their own placards. The organisers of the event have asked for residents to avoid graphic and offensive placards.
