Rock out with the ‘King’
Support the Skills Unfolded fundraiser in Westville at its Rock n Roll evening this month.
IT will be a Rock n Roll fundraising fest at the Cerman Club, 7 Barham Road in Westville, on Friday 26 September from 7pm.
The exciting event will be a mix of Elvis songs, performed by Andrea Giglio, an Elvis tribute artist, as well as a large variety of other classic old-school rock songs.
The event is a fundraiser for the Skills Unfolded centre in Westville. Most of the people at the centre are special needs students and are being taught an array of useful skills, from upholstery, catering, hairdressing to computer skills and needlework.
The entrance fee is R100 which includes a delicious meal of either chicken a la king or curry and rice.
The dress code is rock and roll.
The group of students will open the dance floor with an exciting dance routine, which they have choreographed and have been practicing for more than a month.
