Local dancers return with trophies

Local girls won medals at the South African Highland Championships.

LOCAL highland dance girls from the Parker Studio for Celtic Dance headed to Johannesburg to enter the South African Highland Championships. The International and local judges were met by a high standard of dance performed by the KZN girls.

The team consisted of Hayley Parker, Kelly Jeffrey, Keiryn O’Conner, Crystal Hayden, Tammy Hale, Samantha Wood and Melissa Wood. Each girl danced with determination in their various sections, which concluded with ribbons, medals and trophies being won.

Samantha Wood, Hayley Parker, Crystal Hayden, Tammy Hale and Melissa Wood were the trophy winners.
