Dance festival takes centre stage
The vibrant and colourful performances will be performed by more than 350 dancers from studios, crews, youth groups, outreach projects and dance companies based in KZN.
THE seventh annual Durban Dance Movement returns to Durban audiences on Friday, 26 July and Saturday, 27 July at the Playhouse Drama Theatre.
The creative programme this season will showcase hip hop, African contemporary, jazz, ballet, Bollywood, break dancing, krump, ngom and many other dance styles that celebrate the essence of the diverse cultures in Durban.
These vibrant and colourful performances will be performed by more than 350 dancers from studios, crews, youth groups, outreach projects and dance companies based in KZN.

Featuring in the performance this year is Dance Academy Kloof, and its students will perform jazz, hip hop and modern routines in the festival.
“This year the festival is going to be so exciting and we are glad to be performing again for the fourth year in a row,” said the choreographer of Dance Academy Kloof, Kelly Motzouris.
