Go west to Surrey

The Dean Kannemeyer yard does very well on the Greyville Polytrack and both Surrey and Capel Top can be expected to go close to winning their races tonight.

Surrey was a big priced winner when winning at this track this month and the drop in trip to 1400m should not be a problem. His four-point penalty could well be negated as promising 4kg-claimer Eric Ngwane retains the ride in Race 4, a MR 78 Divided Handicap.

Capel Top, in Race 7, won last year on this surface and may have just needed the run when third to Night Shadow last time out.

Capel Top was doing his best work at the finish.

Jockey Anthony Delpech has done the steering job for most of the Kannemeyer winners in Kwa-Zulu Natal recently and will be aboard this Argentinian import.

The best bet on the card and probably the banker in all exotics will be Fareeq in Race 9.
