Ministry encourages women to rise and support one another

Agape Ministries recently hosted an event in honour of Women’s Month, focusing on the personal challenges and struggles women face.

Agape Ministries hosted its annual Women’s Month Conference under the theme “Women Arise”, bringing women together for a day of prayer, healing, health awareness and sisterhood on August 15.

The event featured worship sessions and health talks, including a presentation by Dr Vusi Binda of Lesedi Medical Centre, who highlighted the importance of creating supportive spaces where women can connect and discuss the challenges they face.

The conference also focused on women’s health, encouraging attendees to seek help early, support one another and speak openly about their experiences. The programme included performances by the church choir, led by Lerato Waka Ngobe.

Agape Ministries also continues its community outreach efforts, including the Basket of Hope Initiative, which provides support to individuals and families in need.
