The seven debt collectors out to get you
The municipality reveals the seven companies to collect debt on their behalf.
Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) revealed the seven debt collectors to help recover money owed in unpaid property rates and taxes.

According to MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu, Hahn Collection, Buthelezi Inc, Credit Intelligence Professional Debt Collectors, Saya Recoveries, Madhlopa Thenga Inc Attorneys, Morkalio Revenue Solutions and Mojela Hlazo Attorneys Inc were appointed (under tender number: CORP (L) 01/2024-B) to collect debt on the municipality’s behalf.
This is to avoid falling victim to scammers, for residents always request that debt collectors identify themselves over the phone or communicate via email. If you have any doubts, please visit our offices to verify with municipal personnel.
“Remember, never make payments into personal accounts, as all payments must be made directly into official municipal accounts,” Refilwe said.
