Jorrie Jordaan, Jason’s grandfather, said Jason’s brain is still not healed and his memory is jogged.
“His speech is still difficult due to his jaw that was damaged, but hopefully that will change on March 19 as they have scheduled his operation to start the reconstruction,” Jorrie stated.
The doctor told me they will also have to break his wrist before they can fix it,” he explained.
He continued Jason is still not walking due to his cracked pelvis and brain injury.
“He is getting help from the occupational therapist and started physiotherapy this week. He is in large amounts of pain with the physio because he hasn’t been using his legs for over four weeks,” he added.

“Although there has been an improvement over the last two weekends, there is still a long way to go. Thank you for your continued prayers and we appreciate that you are keeping us all in your thoughts,” he concluded.
