Curro Krugersdorp High School has announced the appointment of Lucinda Jansen as its new head of the high school.

The school says the appointment marks a positive new chapter, offering an opportunity for growth, strengthened community ties and a renewed sense of purpose.

According to the school’s marketer, Dibuseng Maboya, Lucinda joins the school with a deep passion for education and a strong belief in the power of meaningful relationships. With extensive experience spanning teaching, leadership, and staff development, she brings a thoughtful balance of professional expertise and genuine care for learners, staff, and families alike.

She adds that Lucinda’s approach to leadership is grounded in connection.

“She believes that when children feel supported, understood, and valued, they are empowered to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Her experience in education has shaped a leadership style that prioritises collaboration, growth, and a nurturing school culture,” Dibuseng says.

Sharing her excitement about joining the school community, Lucinda expresses how she looks forward to being part of the Curro family.
