The Western Gauteng D2 Proteas girls U/13 hockey team recently made their district very proud.

The team of 14 girls were chosen from five D2 schools, namely Monument Primary, Protearif, Laerskool Randfontein, Millennium Primary and Curro Primary School.

“Our girls did very well and lost out on a bronze medal in the playoffs. They finished fourth out of 14 teams,” said Laura Botha, whose daughter is one of the team members.
