Curro Krugersdorp's rugby teams delivered impressive performances in the Golden Lions School Rugby League finals, securing multiple victories across age groups.

Curro Krugersdorp showcased its rugby prowess in the Golden Lions School Rugby League finals, with both its high school and primary school teams producing standout performances.

According to the school’s marketer, Dibuseng Maboya, the high school teams set the tone for a successful campaign.

The first team powered their way to a hard-fought 27–20 victory over Glenharvie High School, displaying skill, composure and determination throughout the match.

The U15 side also rose to the occasion, securing a narrow 6–5 win against Hoërskool Westonaria thanks to a disciplined defensive performance.

The primary school teams added to the excitement by battling their way to the finals.

The primary school’s first team secured a thrilling 26–24 victory over Laerskool Hekpoort, capping off an impressive run in the competition.

The U9 team also performed admirably, finishing as runners-up after facing Glenharvie Primary School in the final.

“Across all age groups, the players displayed passion, discipline and unwavering team spirit. Their performances are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the learners and their coaches,” said Maboya.

Curro Krugersdorp celebrated the achievements of its rugby teams, with both campuses continuing to uphold the school’s values and make their mark in competitive sport.
