Wildlife Estate Series returns to Hoedspruit for 2025

LIMPOPO – The wait is over for those who have been waiting in anticipation for one of Hoedspruit’s most popular sports events, the Wildlife Estate Series.

In its seventh year, the Wildlife Estate Series, presented by Lowveld Trail Running, offers four trail running events starting on March 29 until July 19.

Amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Lowveld, participants will discover the beauty of Hoedspruit’s estates from a fresh perspective, feeling safe and fully immersed in the preserved wonders of the region.

Each location teems with African plains game, adding an extra layer of excitement to the adventure.

The series culminates in the grand finale at Blyde Wildlife Estate, featuring the ever-popular river crossing, a highlight that has left participants buzzing for the past years.

Participants can enter into three races. A short course of about 6km, a medium course of about 12km and a long course of 20km.

Pre-registration is on Fridays before the race at Pam Golding’s office in the Rock Fig Lifestyle Centre in Hoedspruit.

Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate
Hosted on March 29. Entries start from R70 to R250.

Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate 2025
Hosted on April 26 starting at 05:30.

Elephant Rock Eco Estate 2025
Hosted on May 31 in Elephant Rock Eco Estate, Jonkmanspruit with 5km, 11km and 19km races.

Blyde Wildlife Estate 2025
Hosted on July 19 starting from the Blue Mountain Restaurant in the Blyde Esteate, Jonkmanspruit.
