Go cross the country at Stanford Lake College

The Limpopo cross country mountain biking series is coming to Stanford Lake College in Haenertsburg on 18 May.

Cyclists of all ages will test their skills and fitness on fast, high intensity tracks in a lap format. Riders from as young as 6 take part in this exciting format and compete against others in their age group for Limpopo colours at the end of the series.

This will be the third event in the series, with the final championship event due to take place in Louis Trichardt on 22 June.

The event has been made possible through the sponsorship of local businesses, Insect Science, Miami Canners and BF Fuels, as well as various smaller sponsors providing prizes and support. With the first race kicking off at 8am, it promises to offer a great morning out for the whole family.

An added benefit will be the chance to watch some of Africa’s top road cyclists in the Tour de Limpopo road stage race, which will be passing by the school that morning as the race heads from Tzaneen to Polokwane, where it will finish at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
